Searching for activities and things to do to keep your child entertained can sometimes prove difficult if the young person has Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The leisure and activities section of the Local Offer provides detail of different clubs and activities that are happening in Stockport which are suitable for children and young person with SEND.
Accessing lesiure activities benefits young people and their famiies in a number of ways:
- Help them to grow in confidence and meet new friends.
- Promote health and well being.
- Gives parent/carers and siblings a break from their caring role.
- Develop independence and life skills.
