Kickstart Childcare (Bradshaw Hall)

Breakfast & After School Clubs

At Kickstart Childcare, we place great importance on a partnership approach which gives children the best outcomes, inspiring them to achieve their full potential in their own unique way. Through our core values, we like to provide a home-from-home setting in all our wraparound clubs, children are there to play, learn and have fun.

Our activities are designed to give children the opportunity to become successful, confident individuals, who make a positive contribution to our community and society – both now and in the future.

Our Childcare team is led by an experienced Childcare Director who has more than 15 years experience within childcare and education.

When your child attends one of our breakfast clubs you can be sure that they will be starting their school day with a nutritious breakfast that will see them through the school morning.  The children have a choice of breakfasts that include cereal, fruit, yoghurts, toast, juice, and milk. At the end of the session, out staff take all the children to their classes.

If your child is attending an after-school club session, our team will collect them from their classes at the end of the school day and they will start their session with a healthy teatime snack.

The children will access their snacks in a self-serve style which is a fundamental part of the EYFS and helps children learn self-help skills, turn-taking and social skills.  Snacks include wraps, crackers, beans on toast & yoghurts with water & fruit always available.  We operate a two-week rotational snack menu and this changes to suit the season.  We have been awarded the Healthy Club Award and also have a 5 Star Hygiene Food Certificate.

We have lots of activities available for the children to take part in, we also offer outdoor play & sports.  Planning is based on a theme and is designed to take in to account the interests of the children through key worker observations of the children and through discussion and the floor book planning system, where children document what they have enjoyed and would like to do more of.
