More Play More Often: At Edgeley Children's Centre

More Play More often is a school holiday play scheme for primary aged children.  The Play Scheme offers a number of different group based activities that children are supported and engaged in.  There are sports games, arts and craft, play with sand and water, Lego, a sensory space and they visit the park which is a 30 seconds walk. 

More Play More Often welcomes children with and without disabilities and has a high number of trained and experienced staff.  The play scheme gives parents a short break from their caring role and builds confidence and enables children to develop friendships and independence.  Stockport Local authority has commissioned More Play More Often to deliver this school holiday play scheme.  

If you are interested in booking your child a place, you must first visit and fill in the registrations forms at their after school club.  This will give you the opportunity for you and your child to have a look around and meet the staff.  

Support staff:  More Play More Often have a team of experienced staff supporting who will engaging children in activities:  parents don’t stay, but they may want to stay to settle their child in initially.

How can my child attend?   To attend the More Play More Often:  your child must have: A diagnosed disability, have a recently completed/updated EHA/CAF form and be a resident of Stockport.

Contact the Aiming High Team. There are some registration forms that must be filled in before your child can attend.  There may be a waiting list.
