I have been a Registered childminder for over 20 years with experience of working with children aged 6 months to 10 years.  I operate from 8am - 5:30pm I also provide before and after school care with drop off/collection from St Joseph’s Primary and Reddish Vale nursery.

I offer a relaxed and homely setting as I want the children, I care for to feel at home in their surroundings and to have fun. We make use of the local parks, attend weekly story time at the library and the local playgroups etc but also spend time at home playing with the varied resources I have and playing in the outdoor space. I plan activities which support your child’s next steps and focus on the interests of your child.  I work closely with parents to keep them informed on their child’s progress and how they can support their child's learning at home.  

I am trained in First Aid and Safeguarding and these are updated in accordance to statutory requirements.  I regularly participate in online weekly webinars to continually develop my practice.I have lots of experience working with children with speech and language delay.

I have completed Wellcomm training which enabled me to carry out a speech and language assessment and intervention activities.  Wellcomm is also used as a one of my methods to establish starting points for your child. 

I am an inclusive childcare provider and if you have a child who has any specific needs then please contact me to discuss these needs. Where children’s needs are identified through regular observation and assessment, I will have a discussion with parents and other carers.  I am happy to talk to parents about any worries or concerns about their child, via telephone, text, email or face to face discussion as appropriate.
