SAYS: Stockport Action Youth Speakers

SAYS is our space for young people aged 13 to 25 who have additional needs and/or disabilities to come together, make friends, learn new skills and have fun.

The young people who come to SAYS can also the tell people who make decisions about the services they receive what they think about them. This includes health, social care, education and housing services.

The group is supported by school nurses, specialist teachers, housing officers and social care and Disability Stockport workers.

From 14 February 2023, the group will meet every other Tuesday from 4:30pm to 6pm at Disability Stockport.

The space has a sensory room, accessible toilets and a kitchen where the young people cook a meal to eat.

At each session, there are a number of options that young people can join in. We'll develop the group depending on what young people say they want.

If you or your child would like to join the group, you can complete a registration form.
