Stockport Council – Supported Apprenticeships
Supported Apprenticeships are a scheme run by Stockport Council for young people age 16-25 who live in Stockport and have Special Educational Needs or Disabilities, and/or are young carers, and/or are looked after children or Care Leavers.
Apprentices are employed by Stockport Council and based at a host employer. Apprenticeships are subject to availability and eligibility.
Referral from support worker required. Young person must be capable of achieving a Level 2 apprenticeship and working towards Level 1 in English & Maths.
