Little Darlings is a private day nursery situated in Offerton, Stockport.
We are a relatively small setting providing care for children and babies aged from 12 weeks to 5 years.
We provide children with a loving, warm and caring atmosphere and environment which helps them to thrive in their learning.
We allow for children to progress in their learning by providing a wealth of resources and activities for them to access.
Key workers and practitioners are dedicated in caring for children and helping them to progress from their starting points to further areas of development, flourishing in their learning and development on an individualised basis.
Little Darlings has regard for all legislation and equal opportunities for children and their families and help support children with a variety of learning and developmental needs. Robust policies and procedures within the setting provide the framework for practitioners to support children in a well structured environment.

Little Darlings Day Nursery is a 72-place setting located on Hempshaw Lane in Offerton. We pride ourselves on creating a stimulating, warm and friendly environment for children aged 12 weeks- 5 years. Our graduate-led management team ensure high quality provision is made accessible for all our children, with consideration given to their needs and interests as developing individuals.
At Little Darlings Day Nursery we have a thorough and robust Special Educational Needs and Disability Policy which is underpinned by the guidance for the Code of Practice 2014 (0-25 years). Our settings SENDCO works closely with children, families and the team to ensure that children are fully included and thrive in their learning and development.
All our practitioners are aware of their role in identifying and supporting children’s needs, and are experienced in working collaboratively with parents, carers and external service professionals to implement consistent holistic support strategies. The management team, SENDCO and staff members are all open and eager to attend specific training sessions where these are required, to build their knowledge in specific areas of SEND support.
We pride ourselves on our working partnerships with parents/carers and families at Little Darlings and see this as a strength we can offer to families and children impacted by additional needs and/or disabilities. We create informed plans and targets for children with additional needs, regarding both their nursery and home environments. We feel this approach has meant parents/carers are emotionally supported and fully and honestly informed of their child’s progress and requirements.
