At Kiddiwinks we work closely with parents to provide a learning experience for each child, tailored to meet their individual needs. We endeavour to adapt to all children’s needs where possible.
All staff ‘track’ children’s progress through observation and assessment and staff are all aware on how to report any concerns regarding a child’s development to the nursery’s SENCO. We have worked closely with speech and language therapists as well as health visitors and portage workers.
Our regular reviews about the children’s development helps to support parents in the home setting and one to one meetings gives us an opportunity to discuss their child’s development in detail. Staff attend regular training courses and are willing to attend further training to enable us to cater for children with additional needs should the need arise.
