Laura Morrissey Counselling offers counselling support to parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs. I specialise in counselling adults, parents & carers of individuals with additional needs and young people. I have particular expertise in attachment issues and adoption.

I am also a qualified supervisor & provide training in areas such as exam stress and anxiety.

Attachment issues can affect young people and adults and is a consequence of disruption in having their early needs met, this can occur due to parental illness or unavailability for other reasons.

I utilise creative approaches and design the therapy around the clients needs.  My counselling practice was set up to support people through times of change or loss, to empower, find a sense of peace and realise their potential.
