Description

At St. Paul's we believe all children have the right to fully access early education. To support transitions from home to school we have open days and settling in sessions.

We work closely with parents/carers who are fully involved in all decisions that affect their child's education. Children are allocated a key worker who will carry out a baseline assessment when children start pre-school and continuous observations and tracking are carried out so we can highlight any concerns. We have regular parent’s evenings where parents can look at their child's learning journey and special book and discuss any concerns.

We encourage home school links with our ‘wow’ moments. Parents can also speak to our staff on a daily basis to discuss any concerns they may have.

We have wheelchair access and accessible toilet, adjustments to room and furniture will be made to suit children's needs. We will work closely with health visitors, portage and other agencies to meet children's needs.

Where necessary we will provide one to one support for children. Our staff have full knowledge of the EYFS framework and attendance on new and updated training is encouraged.
