NHS Paediatric Dietitian Service

The Paediatric Dietitians are based at Stepping Hill Hospital and provide a service for children aged 0-18 years in Stockport whose medical condition needs a special diet to resolve symptoms such as Type 1 Diabetes, Cystic Fibrosis and allergies. They also see children who have faltering growth or are malnourished due to eating disorders, or who cannot manage enough to eat to meet their nutritional needs so may need feeding by tube. We are science graduates who are registered with a professional body called HCPC and aim to provide practical advice, based on scientific evidence.
