I am a well established and experienced registered childminder living in Marple with my husband, two sons and two small friendly dogs.
I live on a quiet road with plenty of on street parking opposite lovely country walks. I have a secure back garden for the children to play out with tricycles, sandpit, basketball, trampoline, slide, etc.
I provide a caring, safe home environment where children can play, learn, interact with others and enjoy themselves. There is plenty of space inside for the children to play with a large variety of toys, a play kitchen, games, jigsaws, books, musical instruments as well as arts, crafts and baking.
We go on regular outings to toddler groups, parks, the library, children's farms, etc. I have been childminding in Marple for 28 years and have a good Ofsted inspection grade. I attend training courses and hold up to date certificates in paediatric first aid and safeguarding.

I have been a childminder for twenty eight years. I have had experience working with delayed speech, coordination with a health visitor and a speech therapist. I have experience in the use of inhalers for asthma.
I am willing to support children with learning difficulties and physical impairment. I have been on a portage training session, which offers an excellent specialised home based programme to support early learning and development. I would be happy to work with such a programme.
If you are interested in using my service I would arrange a meeting at my house with you and your child. We can discuss your child’s specific needs and their stage of development. I offer a settling in process of another visit for your child with you and then a further visit where your child is left with me for a short session.
I keep records of your child’s development with input from yourself as well as my own observations and the early years development matters overview. This would be reviewed with the help of teaching sheets.
Regular meetings are made to discuss your childs progress and to offer support to be given at home.
