Jubilee Childcare (Pre School) Ltd
Jubilee childcare is a privately run childcare pre-school for children aged 2 to 5 years. We are located in the magical grounds of The Garden House, Lakes Road, Marple.
We strongly believe that children learn best through play at this age. Through play, children develop language skills, their emotions and creativity, social and intellectual skills. They take risks, show imagination and solve problems on their own or with others.
The role that Jubilee Childcare includes is that we provide time, space and appropriate resources, we observe play and join in when invited, watching and listening before intervening.
We provide a safe, home from home but challenging environments that support and extend learning and development.
All of our staff are Experienced, Highly Qualified, trained in Safe Guarding, First Aid and hold DBS checks.
We can offer the Free Childcare for 3-year old's and we can accept the extended 30 hours free childcare along with other various voucher schemes.

Local Offer
- Description
We offer settling-in sessions to all children after first discussing with parents each child’s individual needs, likes, dislikes, etc. We normally recommend 3-5 settling-in sessions (chargeable at an hourly rate) and parents are welcome to stay during these times. We have an open door policy and we encourage parents to take an active role in their child’s learning & development, both at home and in our preschool.
After the initial discussion with parents about their child we undertake confidential observations & assessments on a regular basis. Each child has their own Learning Journal which is shared with parents and available for parents to comment upon.
All staff have relevant childcare qualifications and we have a dedicated SENco who has recently attended a local authority SENco training course. Staff have a wealth of experience and we will endeavour to accommodate all children if possible. We are willing to work with other professionals & practitioners and attend any relevant training necessary to support our work with children.
Each child is allocated a key-worker as they start at the pre-school. The purpose of a key-work is to support your child throughout the pre-school sessions. The key-worker will be responsible for observing & caring for your child on a daily basis.
Our main strenghts are:-
- At the moment we can offer flexibility with childcare Mon- Fri to suit individual needs.
- Excellent inter-agency support & links e.g local primary school, childminders, early years networks, play schemes & local council.

We feel it is important for our children to engage in the community and regularly take our children out using the local amenities such as "Mini Rangers" at Etherow Country Park, Local Ball Pits & Walks out.
- Excellent parent/family partnership with our families & children.
- We are close to local transport routes, Bus routes & train services.
