SEND Young Ambassadors

SEND Young Ambassadors are a new group of young people in Stockport who meet regularly with Health and Local authority service leads to improve and co-produce services supporting children and young people with disabilities and additional needs.  SEND Young Ambassadors are part of Stockport’s SEND Improvement journey and they will share their experiences of health, education and social care support that will inform future services.

SEND Young Ambassadors meet regularly and make sure the SEND Board keep young people’s views at the heart of what they do. if you or you know a young person who would like to be involved or would like more information you can email us


11th November 2019 meeting:

The group met to co-produce job descriptions for two exciting roles: a leader for our SEND work and a co-ordinator for our Local Offer.
