CADS: Sport & Activities
CADS is a school holiday sports camp for children with disabilities and additional needs. The sports days are for children who need 1:1 support and children taking part will be engaged in a range of small group based activities.
Seashell Trust aims for children and young people to be safe, happy and improve their life outcomes through leisure activities. CADS promotes friendships and also give parents/carers a short break. Stockport Local Authority have commissioned the Seashell Trust to deliver the CADS events.
Who is this for? children aged 5 up to their 18th birthday. CADS welcomes children with all disabilities who needs 1:1 support in sports based activities.
When does the scheme run? The scheme runs during school holidays throughout the year.

Where does CADS take place? All CADS events take place at the Seashell Trust in Cheadle Hulme SK8 6RQ or St James Catholic High School in Cheadle Hulme SK8 6PZ.
Cost: Events are chargeable, contact CADS for further information
Support Staff: CADS have a team of trained staff who will support young people throughout the day. Parents don’t stay.

How can my child attend? To attend the CADS your child must have: A diagnosed disability, need 1:1 support, has a recently completed/updated Early Help Assessment form and is a resident of Stockport. Contact the Aiming High Team. There are some registration forms that must be filled in before your child can attend. There may be a waiting list
