My name is Becci, I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Romiley with a rating of Outstanding.

I have a number of childcare qualifications/certificates including paediatric first aid, safeguarding, Autism awareness, food safety and hygine level 2, BTec National Diploma in the Early Years level 3 and many more. I continually update my knowledge skills to provide the very best for all the children in my care.

I am enthusiastic and reliable and love what I do. I believe when children are given the right level of support and encouragement they are able to achieve anything and I work hard in supporting them to achieve at their own pace and make sure they have fun, however messy it gets! 

I have experiance in working with children with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, speech delay, asthma, dietary allergies and intolerance and I am always looking to develop my skills and knowledge to help support the children and their families in my care.

I have been working as a childminder for over 9 years and previous to this worked in a busy nursery for nearly 6. I have a large garden and love to be outdoors (wellies required) in all weather. In the garden there's a climbing tree, small world area, maths and english area, construction area, science shed, pet zone (rabbit) and planting area as well as ride on toys and swing/slide. We have two rooms on the ground floor (play room and cozy room) and a toilet and washing facilities on the second floor. I use several approaches (eg Montessori) to make the setting as inviting as possible and for the children to lead their own learning with confidence. I offer pick ups from Romily Primary School and I offer a range of places from term time only to shift work and try and be as flexable as possible.
