16 to 25: Transitions to Adulthood

We are here to support you and your child when they are moving placements; from starting at an early years setting, preparing for school life, supporting the transition to secondary school and then the transition to further education or work.

We will work with you and staff in schools and settings supporting you in choosing a school or setting. Once you have chosen we are here to support preparing your child or young person to ensure a successful start in their new setting.

We will be involved in meetings and ongoing liaison with key staff providing deaf awareness training to ensure that all the information about your child and their individual needs and support is shared with the new setting.
